Established in America in 1997, ROBERGE & CO. specializes in the importation of Water Hyacinth Furniture from Thailand.  From the tranquil waterways of Thailand, a new environmentally friendly furniture design is now available.  The water hyacinth plant, renowned for the beauty of its large blue flowers was introduced to Thailand and planted in the ponds of the Royal Palaces.  From there it has spread rapidly into the waterways, lakes and rivers throughout Thailand.  This plant reproduces so fast it became a severe problem in the waterways.  The people of Thialand have helped curb the rapid growth by using it to make naturally beautiful furniture that lasts a lifetime.

Care and cleaning of water hyacinth furniture is simple. Vacuum dust using a brush attachment.  Brush with a nylon brush to remove dried food, etc.  If necessary wash with soap and water, then dry completely.
