Palecek Crossings Entertainment Center Cabinet features solid alderwood, not laminate. As with all solid wood items, minor cracks are normal. Found (old) rattan peel inlay is used as panels on doors. Finish is a hand rubbed, multi-stepped process. Cabinet has pocket doors that slide back into cabinet, no hinges. Cabinet back has opening for electronic cords. A sliding panel covers cord opening when not in use. Cabinet interior has a large main area (33.5"W 24"D 34"H) that accomodates a TV (depending upon TV size), smaller shelf underneath has space (33.5"W 24"D 7.5"H) for electronic devices such as DVD's or VCR's. Below are two external drawers (1 with 3 compartments that are 5.5"W 17.5"D 5"H each and the other drawer with 2 compartments) are provided for storage of CD's and tapes. Not recommended in dryer climates, such as Arizona, Nevada and Utah. See matching collection in Product Groups below. Delivered on a pallet for safety in shipping.
